Awarded in 2022 The Thomas J. Ullmann Champion of Liberty Award, the highest award given by the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association "for her outstanding and exemplary contributions to the criminal justice system, her zealous advocacy for her clients and her unfailing support of the criminal defense bar."
NATIONAL CHAMPION OF STATE CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM AWARD
Awarded the National "Champion of State Criminal Justice Reform Award" by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2012 in "recognition of her passion and dedicated efforts that have led to progressive criminal justice reform in Connecticut."
ELECTED PRESIDENT 2010-2011
Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Connecticut’s largest association of criminal defense lawyers, both private lawyers and public defenders. Served as a member of the Executive Board and held all positions of office from 2008 - 2011. Currently serves on the Past Presidents’ Committee, advising the board and contributing to legislative pursuits to improve state laws in the criminal justice system.
